What is a sauna ritual?
A sauna ritual (sometimes also called a sauna ceremony) is a guided program led by a professional sauna master. It is not just ordinary sauna bathing, but a carefully designed experience with a clear beginning, build-up, and conclusion.
The ritual takes place in several phases. First, the body is gradually warmed. This is followed by a more intense phase with the application of essential oils and dynamic air circulation using towels or fans. The climax of the ceremony provides maximum heating of the body, after which cooling and relaxation follow.
